Jok - The library

Jok visits the library. He hopes to find ancient information about the forgotten magicians there. He is one of the strongest guys in the village, but magic could make him even stronger.

He's not really concerned with popularity. He already is well liked by girls anyway due to his looks, and as someone who's always very helpful and has been involved in the construction of some houses, he's also well liked by everyone else.

Above all, he wants to experience something new and then make himself comfortable with his new power.

As expected, there is nothing going on in the library. Most things can be found online after all.

Besides that, hardly anyone is interested in such topics.

As he looks around trying to get an overview, he notices a girl sitting in the corner, reading something.

She doesn't let him distract her.

Jok reads for a few hours until he realizes that he wants to learn more about the kingdom in the sea of ice. So he goes back to Lae.

Lae gets up and puts her book away.

She goes back to the shelf where she got the last book.

I just read something about the forest magicians who could bring extinct animals back to life.
Maybe they still have some of these animals around.

Lae climbs up the shelf a bit.

She pulls it out and jumps down.

Jok takes the book.
